Donetsk, Sep 14 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic four times over the past 24 hours targeting areas on the Gorlovka and Donetsk axes, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Overall, Ukrainian armed formations expended 58 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
Strikes were delivered the outskirts of the Ozeryanovka settlement in Gorlovka and the Vasilyevka village outside Yasinovataya. The enemy used infantry fighting vehicle cannons and 120mm and 82mm mortars. No civilian casualties or damage to civil infrastructure were recorded.
The Ukrainian representatives at the JCCC ignored the attempts to use the coordination mechanism in order to quickly establish a local ceasefire after each fact of truce violation, the DPR Office said.
In the previous reporting period Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the DPR twice.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
