Donetsk, Sep 10 - DAN. The Ukrainian army fired at Donetsk People’s Republic areas 19 times over the past week, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.
“Nineteen ceasefire violations by Ukrainian armed formations were recorded over the past week,” Basurin said. “The enemy used 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.”
Strikes were delivered at the following settlements: Shakhta Gagarina and Golmovsky on the Gorlovka axis, Staromikhailovka, Vesyoloye and Vasilyevka on the Donetsk axis and Leninskoye, Kominternovo, Novolaspa and Bezymennoye on the Mariupol axis. Two civilians were wounded and four houses were damaged in Ukrainian army strikes, he said.
Enemy strikes also damaged service lines and facilities of the Zasyadko and Chelyuskintsev collieries in Donetsk, the flux and dolomite plant in Dokuchayevsk, and power facilities in Gorlovka and Donetsk.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and use of unmanned aerial vehicles.*jk
