Donetsk, June 2 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic  68 times over the past 24 hours expending 485 rounds of ammunition, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.

Strikes were delivered at the DPR capital’s Kievsky, Kuibyshevsky and Petrovsky districts, Makeyevka’s Kirovsky and Chervonogvardeisky districts, Mineralnoye, Yasinovataya, Alexandrovka, Staromikhailovka, Gorlovka’s Nikitovsky, Kalininsky and Central districts and its Golmovsky, Zaitsevo Yuzhnoye and Panteleimonovka neighborhoods. The enemy used “Grad” and “Uragan” multiple rocket launchers, 155mm, 152mm and 122mm artillery and 120mm and 82mm mortars.

Over the past 24 hours, one civilian was killed and another 17 were wounded within the DPR borders before the beginning of the special operation. Thirty-two houses and 19 civil infrastructure facilities were damaged in enemy fire.

In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian armed formations fired at DPR areas 51 times.

The JCCC daily report does not include the information on strikes or damage to civil infrastructure in liberated areas or areas where fighting against Ukrainian armed formations is ongoing.*jk
