Donetsk, Oct 24 — DAN.  Ukrainian gunmen opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic 51 times from from 6:00, October 23 to 6:00, October 24, expending 274 rounds of ammunition, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) said on Monday.

“Strikes were delivered at 12 DPR settlements including Donetsk, Makeyevka, Yasinovataya, Gorlovka, Panteleimonovka, Yakovlevka, Mineralnoye and Dokuchayevsk. The enemy used ‘Grad’ multiple rocket launchers, 155mm (NATO standard) and 122mm artillery, and unguided airborne missiles, the JCCC said.

Five civilians in Donetsk and Yasinovataya were wounded and 17 homes and three civil infrastructure facilities were damaged in Ukrainian artillery attacks. War correspondent Semyon Pegov was wounded in a “Lepestok” anti-personnel mine explosion.

In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian armed formations fired 276 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas killing one civilian and wounding another two. *jk
