Donetsk, May 19 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired more than 200 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic areas on the Donetsk and Gorlovka axes over the past 24 hours, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.

Strikes were delivered at Donetsk’s Petrovsky and Kievsky districts, Alexandrovka, Dokuchayevsk, Yasinovataya, Vasilyevka, Yakovlevka, Mineralnoye, Gorlovka including its Shakhta 6/7 and Komsomolets neighborhoods, Mikhailovka, Ozeryanovka, Zheleznaya Balka and Panteleimonovka. The enemy used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 122mm artillery, 120mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms expending 216 rounds of ammunition (of calibre above 12.7mm).

The JCCC said that two civilians have been killed and another five have been wounded within the DPR borders before the beginning of the liberation operation. Fifteen houses and infrastructure facilities were damaged in Donetsk, Yelenovka, Gorlovka and Panteleimonovka. Reports on Wednesday evening said that five people had been wounded in DPR liberated areas.

The JCCC morning report does not include the information on strikes or  damage to civil infrastructure in liberated areas or areas where fighting against Ukrainian armed formations is ongoing.

In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian gunmen fired 315 rounds of ammunition at the Republic.*jk
