Donetsk, April 28 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations shelled settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic 20 times on the Donetsk and Gorlovka axes over the past 24 hours (from 03:00, April 27 to 03:00, April 28) expending 193 rounds of ammunition, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.

Fire was delivered at Donetsk’s Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts, Yasinovataya, Yasnoye, Yelenovka and Troitskoye on the Donetsk axis and Shakhta 6/7, Shakhta Gagarina, Zaitsevo, Golmovsky and Zheleznaya Balka on the Gorlovka axis. The enemy used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 122mm artillery, 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons and large caliber machine guns.

As a result of the shelling, a civilian was wounded in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district and at least 14 houses and four civil infrastructure facilities were damaged in targeted settlements.

On Wednesday evening, reports said that 19 civilians had been wounded in liberated areas of the DPR. The JCCC morning report does not include the information on strikes or damage to civil infrastructure in liberated areas or areas where clashes against Ukrainian armed formations are ongoing.

In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian gunmen fired 204 rounds of ammunition at DPR settlements on the Donetsk and Gorlovka axes.*jk
