Donetsk, Apr 24 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen fired nearly 400 missiles and artillery rounds at Donetsk People’s Republic settlements over the past weekend causing civilian casualties.
On Saturday, Kiev army units shelled the Republic 25 times expending 119 round of ammunition. The enemy targeted several districts of Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya and Vladimirovka. There were no civilian casualties; eight homes were damaged by shelling.
On Sunday, Ukrainian forces increased the intensity of fire three-fold firing expending almost 300 artillery rounds. In Makeyevka, two women were killed and one was wounded. In Donetsk and its outskirts, a man was killed and another seven people were wounded.
On Monday morning, the settlements of Vladimirovka and Yelenovka came under Kiev army fire. Damage was caused to Yelenovka’s single-family neighborhood. The enemy remotely delivered anti-tank mines to Donetsk areas.
Ukrainian forces mostly used NATO weapons including missile artillery in all attacks.*jk
