Donetsk, Jun 29 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen fired cannon and missile artillery at the Donetsk People’s Republic more than 30 times over the past 24 hours causing new civilian casualties.
Two men were killed in the attacks on the Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk on Wednesday evening, and another nine people were injured including five adolescents: four girls and one boy. Damage was caused to several apartment buildings, cars and road infrastructure.
The railway station in Yasinovataya which is located 21 kilometers from Donetsk came under artillery fire on Wednesday noon. A young woman was wounded. A railway station building took a direct hit and was critically damaged by ensuing fire. Another four houses also sustained damage.
On Wednesday night, Ukrainian army units continued to shell DPR residential areas using NATO-supplied armaments. There have been no reports on new casualties so far.
