Donetsk, Jun 27 — DAN. Ukrainian forces have fired 254 rounds of ammunition at settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Monday.
“Two civilians have been killed in Gorlovka and Dolya over the past 24 hours, ” the JCCC said. “Another nine civilians were wounded in Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky district, Gorlovka and the liberated settlements of Svetlodarsk and Nikolskoye.”
A JCCC officer was wounded in the line of duty as he was recording Ukrainian gunmen’s war crimes.
Strikes were delivered at two districts of the DPR capital, Gorlovka and its suburbs, Panteleimonovka, Yelenovka, Luganskoye, Dolya, Svetlodarsk and other liberated settlements. The enemy used multiple rocket launchers, cannon artillery and mortars. At least 18 houses and three civil infrastructure facilities were damaged.
In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian armed formations fired 185 rounds of ammunition in 29 strikes at the DPR.
