Donetsk, August 15 — DAN. Ukrainian army units shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic more than 40 times on Monday, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
The enemy targeted three districts of Gorlovka, four districts of Donetsk, two districts of Makeyevka, Yasinovataya outskirts and the settlements of Golmovsky, Staromikhailovka and Yuryevka. Seven civilians including a six-year-old child were wounded and five homes and two infrastructure facilities were damaged in artillery attacks, the JCCC said.
Ukrainian forces mostly used long-range artillery pieces and cluster munitions supplied by NATO countries.
On Tuesday morning, the enemy continued to deliver fire at DPR frontline areas. By 10:00, 12 attacks had been recorded. Fire was delivered at Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka and its suburbs. Two civilians were reportedly wounded.*jk
