Donetsk, Oct 26 – DAN. Large-scale military drills of the DPR People's Militia have demonstrated the Republic's defense high level, DPR Interim Head Denis Pushilin said.
"Large-scale military drills have wound up. They involved People's Militia, security agencies and were aimed at training anti-terrorist action, prevention of technological disasters and providing security for population. The exercises enhanced professionalism of participants, who drilled counter-terrorism measures and minimizing its consequences. All the tasks were fulfilled with efficiency and effectiveness. I as sure that all the revealed shortcomings shall be eliminated.
"The drills comprised all possible scenarios, communication between all the security structures and authorities was organized."
A number of drills involving security agencies and law enforcement were taking place over the week in the DPR, focusing on counter-terrorism and measures to avoid man-made disasters. *ot
