Donetsk, Mar 10 — DAN. “Wagner” Group private military company fighters who participate in the liberation of Donbass have received Donetsk People’s Republic medals and decorations on Friday, said DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin who posted the presentation ceremony video on his Telegram channel.
“All residents keep track of ‘Wagner’ PMC achievements and progress in the liberation of the Donetsk People’s Republic, and are immeasurably thankful to you, ” Pushilin told the “Wagner” fighters. “The liberation of settlements in the assigned areas is an example of true Russian military brotherhood. The way your work is arranged, the way you act as a team to gain ground deserves special respect.”
Aside from military success, “Wagner” Group fighters evacuated thousands of civilians from conflict zones, he added.
Pushilin presented military decorations such as St George’s Cross, For Service to the Republic, For Courage etc. to some 20 PMC fighters overall .
“Wagner” Group fighters are currently taking part in the liberation of Artyomovsk. Earlier, they liberated Soledar and several settlements on the Artyomovsk axis.*jk
