Enakiyevo, Jun 14 – DAN. Escalation in Donbass can shift conflict to another 'active phase'; the climax of deterioration is expected in August, said DPR envoy to the negotiations Denis Pushilin.
"Unfortunately, we ignored it. Escalation is recorded towards August; it happened last year and the year before. We are waiting for the help from international community to pressure Kiev. If it doesn't happen, there will be new victims, destructions, and a threat of another full-scale war."
On 1 June, 2017 Pushilin said another 'seasonal' deterioration of security situation was expected on the contact line, as he was commenting on Kiev's destructive attitude at the Minsk talks. He said, the Ukrainian side was still not ready to negotiate an indefinite ceasefire in Donbass.
The DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko has been pointing out to the Republic's ability to curb any attack by Ukrainian fighters. *ot
