Donetsk, Mar 15 – DAN. DPR Commander-in-Chief Denis Pushilin has inspected military drills at the Gorlovka shooting range.
"On Monday, March 15, DPR Commander-in-Chief Denis Pushilin arrived at the military shooting range in frontline Gorlovka. The head of the state drove an IFV (BMP-1 type) across the range and its artificial obstacles to examine their level of complexity," the publication on his official website reads.
During the drills, tank teams conducted exercises in driving and firing, mechanized infantry focused on tactical exercises. Following the maneuvers, Pushilin praised the troops' and commanders' high-level competence and the People's Militia readiness to perform assigned tasks.
"In times of escalation, we must regularly test our defense. Today I inspected tank and mechanized infantry drills. Seeing their morale is of importance. I consider the army is capable to withstand any developments," he said.
As the drills finalized, Pushilin handed over the first batch of UAZ Patriot PickUp off-road extreme conditions vehicles to the People's Militia. *ot*pp
