Donetsk, Nov 3 — DAN. A prisoner exchange with Ukraine will take place on Thursday according to the formula “107 for 107, ” interim Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said.
“Today, we’re bringing back 107 fighters from Ukraine’s prison cells, ” Pushilin said. “We’ll hand over as many POWs to Ukraine, mostly army personnel.”
The returnees include 65 people from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, he added.
It is not the first prisoner swap between Russia and Ukraine in the recent time. On October 29 and 17, POWs were exchanged according to the formulas “50 for 50, ” and “110 for 110, ” respectively.*jk
