Donetsk, Jul 19 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic 59 times over the past 24 hours expending 397 missiles, projectiles and mortar rounds, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
Ukrainian gunmen targeted the Kirovsky, Kuibyshevsky, Kievsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk, Yelenovka, Yasinovataya, Gorlovka, Verkhnetoretskoye, Bairak, Mikhailovka, Dolomitnoye, Panteleimonovka, Novoselovka, Novobakhmutovka and Yakovlevka. The enemy used “Grad” and “Uragan” multiple rocket launchers, cannon artillery and mortars, the JCCC said.
A civilian was killed as the Verkhnetoretskoye settlement came under fire and another three civilians were wounded in Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky district and the settlements of Luganskoye and Rubtsy. Twenty-two houses and seven infrastructure facilities were damaged in shelling.
In the previous 24-hour period, Kiev gunmen fired 665 rounds of ammunition at the DPR wounding two civilians in the Kirovsky district of the DPR capital and Gorlovka, and damaging 19 houses and three civil infrastructure facilities.*jk
