Donetsk, Mar 15 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations shelled 14 settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations delivered 42 strikes expending 318 rounds of ammunition (of caliber over 12.7mm - eds Donetsk News Agency),” the report said.
The enemy used a Tochka-U tactical missile system, tank guns, 122mm artillery, mortars and small arms. Fourteen settlements came under fire, including Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya and their suburbs.
“Twenty-one civilians have been killed since Monday and another 43 have been wounded, including eight people from previously liberated areas. Seventeen houses were damaged,” the JCCC said adding that the strikes had also damaged 13 civil infrastructure facilities.
In the previous reporting period, the DPR came under fire 24 times; the enemy expended 177 rounds of ammunition. *jk
