Donetsk, Mar 10 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired some three hundred rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations opened fire 26 times expending 292 rounds of ammunition overall,” the report said.
The enemy used heavy artillery, 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. Two civilians were wounded. Enemy strikes damaged 17 houses, a transmission line, a pipeline and church premises in Alexandrovka.
Fire was delivered at Shakhta 6/7, Shakhta Gagarina, Bairak, Golmovsky, Ozeryanovka, Shirokaya Balka and Verkhnetoretskoye (Nizhneye) on the Gorlovka axis, and Shakhta Trudovskaya, Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky district, Alexandrovka and Luganskoye on the Donetsk axis.
In the morning, the enemy delivered strikes with artillery guns, mortars and multiple launch rocket systems at Panteleimonovka, Ozeryanovka, Vasilyevka and Donetsk outskirts. Two women were reportedly wounded in the Staromikhailovka and Shakhta Trudovskaya settlements.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units fired more than 800 rounds at the DPR wounding seven civilians in liberated areas. *jk
