Donetsk, Feb 7 — DAN. Kiev gunmen have not shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic territory for more than ten hours, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
The last artillery strike was recorded at 21:35 on Monday as Ukrainian armed formations fired six 122mm rounds at Gorlovka’s Nikitovsky district. Artillery attacks on the DPR resumed at 8:50. Five 155mm artillery rounds were fired at Makeyevka’s Chervonogvardeisky district.
On Monday, the enemy delivered fire at Donetsk, Gorlovka, Shirokaya Balka, Yasinovataya and Makeyevka expending 97 rounds of ammunition. Two civilians were wounded in Gorlovka’s Kalininsky district and Yasinovataya. Reports said that the man wounded in the February 4 artillery attack on Gorlovka had died. Damage was caused to ten homes in Donetsk and Gorlovka and four civil infrastructure facilities.
On Saturday, Ukrainian armed formations shelled the DPR 25 times.*jk
