Donetsk, Nov 23 — DAN. Russia and Ukraine have begun a prisoner exchange on Wednesday according to the formula “35 for 35, ” Donetsk People’s Republic Acting Head Denis Pushilin said.

“A ‘35 for 35’ prisoner exchange with Kiev is taking place today. Four returnees are from the Donetsk People’s Republic and two from the Lugansk People’s Republic, ” Pushilin said.

Russia is mostly handing over Ukrainian army personnel, he added.

Previously, Russia and Ukraine exchanged 107 prisoners each on November 3. The DPR and LPR were expecting more than 60 fighters to return from Ukrainian captivity. *jk
