Donetsk, May 24 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired 268 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory over the past 24 hours, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

Fire was delivered at Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky and Petrovsky districts, Lozovoye and Yasinovataya on the Donetsk axis, and Golmovsky, Zaitsevo, Shakhta Gagarina and Ozeryanovka on the Gorlovka axis, the JCCC said.  The enemy used «Grad» multiple rocket launchers, 152 mm and 122 mm artillery, 120 mm and 82 mm mortars and armored personnel carrier cannons.

The JCCC said that a 75-year-old man and 48-year-old woman had been wounded in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district over the past 24 hours. Four houses and three civil infrastructure facilities in Donetsk and Gorlovka were damaged in the shelling.

Reports on Monday said that two civilians had been wounded in liberated areas.

In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian armed formations fired 170 rounds of ammunition at the DPR.

The JCCC morning report does not include the information on strikes or damage to civil infrastructure in liberated areas or areas where fighting against Ukrainian armed formations is ongoing.*jk
