Donetsk, Apr 21 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations fired 111 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours (from 03:00, April 20 to 03:00, April 21), the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
Fire was delivered at Donetsk’s Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts, Alexandrovka and Yasinovataya on the Donetsk axis, and Shakhta Gagarina, Ozeryanovka and Zheleznaya Balka on the Gorlovka axis, the JCCC said.
The enemy used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars and large calibre machine guns expending 111 rounds of ammunition. The strikes damaged 26 houses and civil infrastructure facilities in the Petrovsky district, Yasinovataya and Shakhtyorsk.
Earlier reports said that fragments of a Ukrainian missile downed over Shakhtorsk had fallen on the town killing a child and wounding four civilians including another child.
The JCCC daily morning summary does not include the information on strikes, civilian casualties, damage to civil infrastructure in liberated areas or areas where fighting is ongoing such as Mariupol.
According to the JCCC, Ukrainian armed formations fired at the DPR 190 rounds of ammunition in the previous 24-hour period (from 03:00, April 19 to 03:00, April 20). *jk
