Donetsk, Jan 12 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours, targeting DPR territory, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
Vesyoloye, Alexandrovka, Shakhta Izotova, Shakhta 6/7, Novolaspa and Kominternovo came under grenade launcher and small arms fire.
The LPR reported four ceasefire violations.
No damage or casualties have been reported.
The security situation along the contact line deteriorated on January 9 as Kiev forces intensified barrages of frontline areas in the DPR and LPR.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
