Donetsk, Oct 8 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 14 times over the past week, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.
“Ukrainian fighters violated the ceasefire 14 times over the past week using 122 mm artillery, 120 mm, 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms," he said.
The enemy targeted nine townships.
In the previous reporting period, Kiev forces violated the ceasefire 20 times, shelling 11 townships.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
