Donetsk, Nov 27 – DAN. Ukrainian drones intensified their flights over Gorlovka and Dokuchayevsk, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.

"Our intelligence revealed Ukrainian armed forces using drones to adjust artillery and mortar fire and for reconnaissance purposes," he said.

The security situation around Gorlovka has deteriorated recently. Last week, Ukrainian units occupied two townships in the so-called grey zone, Gladosovo and Travnevoye. Relocation of military equipment and arms to the area has been reported. DPR Command expects Ukrainian army to begin operation aimed at destabilization in this frontline zone.

According to the Article 7 of the Minsk Memorandum dated 19 September 2014, the use of combat aircrafts and UAVs along the contact line is banned in the 30km-wide zone of ceasefire, with the only exception made for the OSCE SMM drones. Nevertheless, Ukrainian forces regularly breach the provision, usually to carry out aerial reconnaissance and fire adjustment.*ot
