Donetsk, Apr 19 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired 217 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
The enemy used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 152mm and 122mm artillery and 120mm and 82mm mortars. Fire was delivered at Donetsk’s Kirovsky, Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts, Shakhta Trudovskaya, Makeyevka, Luganskoye, Kremenets, Yasinovataya, Yelenovka, Gorlovka (Shakhta Gagarina, Shakhta Izotova, Molochny), Shirokaya Balka, Verkhnetoretskoye, Dolomitnoye, Panteleimonovka and Krasny Partizan. Seven civilians were wounded and 28 houses and civil infrastructure facilities were damaged in Donetsk’s Kirovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts, Makeyevka (Zemlyanki), Gorlovka (Molochny) and Yelenovka.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations fired 227 rounds of ammunition at the DPR.
The JCCC summary does not include the information on enemy strikes, civilian casualties and damage to civil infrastructure in liberated areas or zones of fighting such as Mariupol.
The JCCC said that it is replacing daily reports with weekly roundups as quick fact-finding on civilian casualties was not possible in the liberated part of the Republic. *jk
