Donetsk, Feb 8 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations shelled Donetsk People’s Republic residential areas using high-mobility artillery rocket systems (HIMARS) overnight to Wednesday, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes.
The enemy fired four HIMRAS missiles at Donetsk’s Budyonnovsky and Kalininsky districts at 23:26 on Tuesday; all of them were downed by air defense, local authorities said. An hour later, three HIMARS missiles were fired at Amvrosiyevka. Falling fragments caused damage to the office building of the cement factory and windows of neighboring homes.
On Tuesday, the enemy fired 92 MLRS and cannon artillery rounds at Donetsk, Zaitsevo, Mayorsk, Gorlovka, Novobakhmutovka, Mineralnoye, Yasinovataya, Makeyevka and Alexandrovka wounding six civilians including a teenager, and damaging three homes and four civil infrastructure facilities.
On Monday, Ukrainian armed formations shelled the DPR 18 times wounding two civilians.*jk
