Donetsk, Jul 24 — DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled residential areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic more than 100 times over the past weekend expending almost 400 artillery rounds.
The enemy mostly used multiple rocket launchers and cannon artillery supplied by the West.
Two civilians were killed and another four were wounded in shelling and 25 houses including apartment buildings and one infrastructure facility were damaged. Communications problems and power outages were reported in attacked areas.
On Monday morning, Kiev army units shelled Donetsk, Makeyevka and Gorlovka neighborhoods more than a dozen times. No casualties or damage had been reported as of noon.*jk
