Donetsk, Dec 9 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations fired at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory twice over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Thursday.
Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Shirokaya Balka settlement in western Gorlovka and the Bezymennoye village in southern DPR. The enemy used grenade launchers and small arms expending 31 rounds of ammunition of calibre over 12.7mm.
In the previous reporting period, the DPR came under fire once, the JCCC reported.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces observed the ceasefire on the contact line with the Lugansk People’s Republic.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been formally in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of heavy armaments in and around settlements, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
