Donetsk, Dec 20 – DAN. Ukrainian army units expended almost 1,000 rounds targeting DPR territory in the past 24 hours, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
“Overall, Ukrainian armed forces fired 975 rounds targeting the DPR," he said. "On the previous day they expended 1,292 rounds."
Donetsk axis saw the most intense shelling, the JCCC added.
Earlier reports said Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 41 times, damaging four houses in Dokuchayevsk.
The sides have agreed to the ‘school ceasefire’ as the new academic year was to begin in Donbass on September 1. It came into force at midnight August 25. It has not proved to be durable, thought in the first hours the security situation along the contact line stabilized. *ot
