Donetsk, Aug 11 — DAN.  The Ukrainian army has fired 423 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory over the past 24 hours (from 6:00, August 10 to 6:00, August 11), the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said on Thursday.

The enemy used 155mm, 152mm and 122mm and 120mm artillery pieces. Strikes were delivered at the Kalinisky, Leninsky, Kievsky, Kuibyshevsky, Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk including  Yelenovka and Staromikhailovka, and Makeyevka, Yasinovataya, Novobakhmutovka, Novselovka, Gorlovka and its satellite settlements of Golmovsky, Mikhailovka and Zaitsevo, the JCCC said.

Reports said that four civilians had been killed and another 20 had been wounded and that 53 houses and 12 infrastructure facilities had been damaged. Donetsk and Gorlovka took most damage.

In the previous 24-hour period, the JCCC recorded 50 strikes by Ukrainian armed formations at the DPR in which two civilians were killed and another 20 were wounded.

On Wednesday night, Kiev forces shelled eastern Donetsk causing an ammonia leak at the local brewery. The leak was stopped three hours later. One person was killed and two were hurt in the Donetsk brewery emergency.*jk
