Donetsk, May 5 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired 194 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
The statistics include ammunition of calibre over 12.7mm The enemy used “Smerch,” “Uragan” and “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 152mm and 122mm artillery, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. Fire was delivered at Donetsk, Gorlovka and their suburbs, as well as at Dokuchayevsk, Makeyevka and Yasinovataya, the JCCC said.
Two civilians were killed and another 25 were wounded in the shelling which also damaged 49 houses and ten civil infrastructure facilities One fatality has been reported since the beginning of the current 24-hours period (starts at 3:00): a 67-year-old woman was killed as Ukrainian armed formations fired at Yasinovataya.
The JCCC morning report does not include the information on strikes or damage to civil infrastructure in liberated areas or areas where fighting against Ukrainian armed formations is ongoing.
In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian gunmen fired at nine settlements expending 131 rounds of ammunition. One civilian was wounded and ten houses and three civil infrastructure facilities were damaged.*jk
