Donetsk, May 23 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic State Security Ministry (MGB) on Thursday made the first comment on the questioning of the Ukrainian servicemen detained near Donetsk on May 22.
“As of now, we confirm the information that planning and carrying out acts of terror in the Republic’s territory was the main objective of the detained Ukrainian servicemen,” the MGB said. “The objectives were jointly set by the Ukrainian Defence Ministry’s Main Intelligence Department and Ukraine’s Security Council.”
Earlier reports said that DPR militiamen had detained a group of Ukrainian commandos. A search found that they had carried explosives. The Ukrainians had DPR uniforms and DPR documents. *jk
