DPR repels Kiev's assault in the south, Repuplic still shelled with mortars

Donetsk, Oct 14 – DAN DPR troops repelled Ukrainian attack on the south axis, the enemy continues shelling of the Republics' forces positions with mortar fire, DPR Operations Command told journalists.

"The enemy's assault was repelled, though Ukrainian forces keep shelling DPR positions with 82mm and 120mm mortars," the Command said.

The statement says that Ukrainian armed forces units in this front sector began realignment and casualty evacuation.
