Donetsk, Apr 6 - DAN. The DPR State Defence Committee instructed the Prosecutor General's Office to develop options for the legal regulation of the denazification of Ukraine.

The corresponding order No. 1 of the State Defence Committee was published on Wednesday on the official website of the DPR Head Denis Pushilin.

"To the Prosecutor General's Office of the Donetsk People's Republic: to submit proposals on a legal regulation of the denazification of Ukraine," the document reads.

The order comes into force from the date of its signing, April 6.

Earlier, at the first meeting of the State Defence Committee, Pushilin said that the legislation on countering extremist activity in the current conditions "does not solve all the issues, a bigger toolkit is needed to eradicate and prevent neo-Nazi and nationalist manifestations."

The State Defence Committee was established on April 3, 2022 to coordinate state actions during the special operation to liberate Donbass, including defence, state security, and internal affairs. The State Defence Committee is also entrusted with providing the armed forces of the Republic with a material and technical supplies, transferring the economy to a military economy phase, controlling the supply of food, and distributing financial resources.
