DPR People’s Militia destroys two Ukrainian M777 howitzers and six armoured vehicles in 24 hours

Donetsk, Oct 3 — DAN. The DPR People’s Militia assisted by the Russian army has liquidated two 155-mm British-made howitzers, used by Ukrainian occupiers, over the last day, DPR Defence’s deputy chief of staff Eduard Basurin said.

“The joint efforts of the DPR servicemen and the Armed Forces of Russia resulted in the destruction of the enemy’s two M777 howitzers, six armoured vehicles, and three UAVs. The enemy lost nearly 60 nationalists,” he said.

Russia started a special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the decision had been made after the DPR and LPR Heads addressed him asking for help. *ot
