Donetsk, Oct 21 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic militiamen have killed up to 60 Ukrainian gunmen and destroyed their equipment over the past 24 hours, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.
“The following enemy armaments and equipment have been destroyed: a Msta-B 152mm howitzer, three tanks (one T-72B and two T6 -64BV), five armored vehicles and cars and five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles; enemy manpower losses amounted up to 60, ” Basurin said.
The special military operation in Ukraine and Donbass began on February 24, 2022. Its objective is to free territories occupied by the Kiev regime. As of now, the Russian Federation control practically the whole Lugansk People’s Republic and large parts of the DPR and the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. These regions joined Russia based on the results of the unification referenda held in late September.*jk
