Donetsk, Jun 13 - DAN. DPR armed forces took positions abandoned by Ukrainian marines in southern Donbass, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Tuesday.
“Our units took up positions of Ukrainian army 36th separate marines brigade which abandoned them on the southern front several days ago,” Basurin said.
Earlier, the headquarters of so-called “Anti-Terrorist Operation” announced that Ukrainian army had advanced 1.5 kilometres in Donbass towards The Donetsk People’s Republic. Later, Ukrainian journalists disseminated a video of DPR positions allegedly seized by Ukrainian army gunmen.
Meanwhile, DPR Operations Command said the trailer in fact belonged to DPR armed forces units which filmed the positions abandoned by Ukrainian marines and posted the video on social media.*jk
