Donetsk, Sep 29 – DAN. The DPR Head Denis Pushilin has amended the regulation on the People'a Militia, reducing its role in demining coordination.
The decree No 299 published on the Head's website says that the People's Militia is no longer in power to coordinate the work of demining agencies and executive power bodies and cooperation with foreign partners on a reimbursable basis.
According to the same regulation and its part that has not been amended, the People's Militia is still responsible for organization and implementation, together with authorities and organizations concerned, of demining and clearance of explosive ordnance in the DPR.
The regulation on the People'a Militia was endorsed on December 3, 2020. The document tasks the People's Militia with defending the country, repulsing armed aggression, organization of the defence, recruitment and enlistment, organizing military training. *ot
