Donetsk, Dec 2 – DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled Donetsk People’s Republic more than 28,285 times over the past month, a DPR defense official said.
"In November the enemy violated the ceasefire 28,285 times," DPR Operations Command deputy commander Colonel Eduard Basurin told a news briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Friday.
“The number of strikes rose, compared with the previous week, to 11,599 times. Artillery, multiple rocket launch systems, tanks and mortars were employed to shell the Republic in 3,691 cases."
Basurin said that four civilians were injured.
A military source earlier said that Kiev forces fired 430 artillery and mortar rounds targeting DP over the previous day.
