Donetsk, Apr 19 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic authorities have announced spring and autumn conscription for citizens born in 1996-2005, pursuant to DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin’s Decree No 99.

The document, published on the website of Pushilin’s administrations on Wednesday, orders to establish draft boards in the region, approve their key and reserve staff, and list the medical centers for the treatment and examination of conscripts.

Local authorities are recommended to help the military commissar’s offices and supervise the conscription. The Healthcare Ministry has been tasked with carrying out medical examinations of conscripts, organizing the operation of medical commissions and sending medics to assembly points.

Police will establish the whereabouts of citizens who have committed administrative offenses and register the draft dodgers.

Officials from the DPR leader’s administration said that the recruits would not be sent for military service during the spring callup. “The citizens who have received a conscription notice and had a health check will stay at home after conscript registration, ” they said. 

The decree came into force on March 31.*jk
