Donetsk, Jan 5 -DAN. Ukrainian gunmen have shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic five times since the beginning of the day using artillery of various calibers, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) said on Thursday.
Ukrainian armed formations have fired at Donetsk and Gorlovka 23 projectiles including 17 155mm (NATO standard) artillery rounds since midnight. No casualties were immediately reported; damage assessment is ongoing, the JCCC said.
The morning was relatively calm in the DPR.
In the previous 24-hour period, the enemy fired 332 rounds of ammunition at the Republic killing one civilian and wounding another. Eight homes and four civil infrastructure facilities were damaged.*jk
