Donetsk, Dec 19 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic 37 times in the period from 6:00, December 18 to 06:00, December 19, ” the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported on Monday.
The enemy expended 200 rounds of ammunition using multiple rocket launchers and cannon artillery. Fire was delivered at seven of the nine districts of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya and their suburbs, the JCCC said.
In the massive attack at central Donetsk on Sunday, the enemy shelled a hospital in the Kalininsky districts damaging Blocks No 5, 6, 7 and 8. Block No 6 took a direct hit. Two patients who were inside at the time of the attack were wounded; one of them later died of his wounds.
In the Kievsky and Voroshilovsky districts, Ukrainian artillery strikes damaged the “Donbass Arena” stadium, “Olympiysky” sport complex, “Yunost” youth center, two dormitories of the Technical University, a boiler house, tram overhead lines, a public transport stop and an office building.
Enemy strikes have killed one civilian and wounded another four over the past 24 hours. Twenty-seven homes and ten infrastructure facilities have been damaged.
In the previous 24-hour period, two DPR civilians were wounded in Ukrainian artillery attacks.*jk
