Donetsk, May 19 - DAN. Gunmen of Ukrainian armed formations holed up at Mariupol’s “Azovstal” plant continue to surrender; as of now, 1,727 people have laid down their arms, the Donetsk People’s Republic Territorial Defense Headquarters reported on Thursday.
“Overall, 1,727 Ukrainian gunmen have surrendered at the “Azovstal” steel works,” the report said.
The figure was cited as of the morning of May 19. The Ukrainian gunmen blocked at “Azovstal” began to surrender en masse on May 16. *jk
