Donetsk, Nov17 – DAN. Fourteen houses have been damaged by Ukrainian shelling of western Donetsk, Dokuchayevsk and DPR Yasinovatskiy and Novoazovskiy districts in the past 24 hours, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin told a news briefing at Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“Artillery and mortar rounds fired from Ukrainian criminals’ positions damaged four residential houses in Mira, Gavrilenko and Vartazar Streets and three houses in Sergeyevka Street,” Basurin said. “In Dokuchayevsk, six houses were damaged in Lenin, Gvardeiskaya, Ostrovskogo and Gorky Streets.”
“In Vesyoloye village (in the vicinity of Donetsk Airport), a residential house in Kolkhoznaya Street took a direct hit and was fully destroyed. In Donetsk’s Petrovskiy district, one residential house was damaged,” he added.
Kiev forces shelled DPR areas 894 times in the past 24 hours, firing 56 152mm and 122mm artillery rounds and 380 120mm and 82 mm mortar rounds and also used grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicle cannons and small arms.
