Donetsk, Jan 31 — DAN. The United States is using the Ukrainian conflict to secure its complete geopolitical dominancy in Western Europe, said Donetsk People’s Republic Acting Head Denis Pushilin.
Western politicians have begun to talk about military confrontation with Russia increasingly often, Pushilin said. For example, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has said straightforwardly that the West is fighting against Russia while NATO Military Committee Chair Rob Bauer said that the alliance was ready for director confrontation with Russia. His remark confirms that they have already been fighting Russia “indirectly, ” the DPR leader said.
“I’m confident that the Minsk Agreements will go down in history as a negative resume, given the cynical confessions of Merkel, Hollande and Johnson about the initially purposeful deception and their imitating the peace talks in order to win time and arm Ukraine, ” Pushilin said.
It looks most cynical because many sanctions against Russia were imposed for non-fulfilment of the Minsk Agreements although the document never directly committed Russia to its implementation, as all the provisions applied to the parties to the conflict, namely Donbass and Ukraine.
“The West violates all rules without hiding it — the masks have been dropped. There are no illusions left. The United States is the only (country) which has been winning by all parameters so far. It is destroying the Slavs with their own hands by involving them in the war, suppling the minimum amount of weapons and demanding that other countries do the same, while killing the economies of its ‘European partners…’ Everything is going with clockwork precision, or according to the chess game of Brzezinski (Zbigniew Brzezinski, the author of the book ‘The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and Its Geostrategic Imperatives — eds Donetsk News Agency), ’ the regional leader said.
Today, European diplomacy is dying before our very eyes; the law does not exist for Western Europe, Pushilin said.
“All this must become a warning to us in the attempts to reach some accords with them. We are going our own way. No dallying, no confidence, at least in the present situation. Regardless of the composition of the force which fights us, we’ll end up victorious anyway, as repeatedly happened in the past, ” he said.
Polish-American political analyst Zbigniew Brzezinski published his major work “The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and Its Geostrategic Imperatives” in 1977. It elaborates on the geopolitical supremacy of the United States and the strategies for maintaining it in the 21st century. The book is mostly focused on U.S. geopolitical strategy in Eurasia. He believes that Ukraine is the last stronghold of Russia. It is Kiev’s final break-up with Moscow and the establishment of pro-western political elite in Ukraine that will enable the USA to strengthen its state of being the only world empire, he said.*jk
