Donetsk, Dec 16 – DAN. DPR and LPR envoys to the Minsk talks suggested during the last meeting in 2020 to adopt Republics’ draft road map on peace settlement be adopted as a basis for further steps, said DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.

“It has been two months that Ukraine has been unable to present its commentaries on our road map. Ukrainian draft plan is impossible to adopt as almost 80 pc of the document contradict the Minsk Agreements,” she said,

According to Nikonorova, the coordinators from the OSCE have assumed “quite a slurred” position saying that it is necessary to discuss other issues on the agenda as soon as the sides fail to reach an agreement.

“How could we possibly eliminate differences is we have not decided what they are as Kiev refuses to review our written propositions. The behavior of the OSCE-affiliated coordinators raises concerns and perplexion on our part, since a coordinator is obviously forbidden to impede the dialog between the sides, not mentioning taking sides,” Nikonorova said.

DPR and LPR presented their road map at the Contact Group conference on October 14. Ukraine tabled its version in early November, though 78 percent of the document, according to experts, are in contradiction with the Minsk Agreements.*ot
