Donetsk, Jan 19 – DAN. The location of the Donbass peace talks is not the key factor in bringing stability back to the war-torn region, the willingness of Ukrainian authorities to comply with their obligations is, said DPR envoy to the negotiations Denis Pushilin.

"As a person immersed in the talks I can assure you that the location of the negotiations is secondary (to our goals). The reason behind the stagnation lies outside the geography, one should look for it in the lack of political will and willingness of a party to the conflict to implement its obligations," he said commenting on the suggestion voiced by the US president Donald Trump to move the talks from Minsk to another location.

Pushilin said Ukraine alone was to blame for the Minsk talks hitting a deadlock, and Trump should better pay attention to this circumstance.

Kazakhstan president Nursultan Nazarbayev said Thursday that during a meeting with president Donald Trump they discussed the possibility the Minsk talks might change venue. *ot
