Donetsk, Aug 9 - DAN. Ukrainian forces fired at the OSCE web camera installed on the premises of Donetsk Water Treatment Plant (DFS), a DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination told Donetsk News Agency on Wednesday.

“News has just come that the OSCE camera at DFS, which was installed just a day ago, has repeatedly come under Ukrainian forces fire. The equipment has been damaged,” the JCCC officer said.

He added that OSCE observers together with OSCE Special Monitoring Mission Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug are now inspecting the damage.

“There’s been no accurate information as yet if the camera is out of operation,” he added.

Reports said earlier on Wednesday that Alexander Hug had inspected frontline areas outside Yasinovataya and Donetsk’s western outskirts. OSCE monitors assessed the situation in Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct territory and Krutaya Balka village.

Several days ago, OSCE monitors installed a web camera on DFS premises. The monitors had to suspend camera setup several times as they had to leave the facility because of Ukrainian army units fire.*jk
