Donetsk, Nov 27 – DAN. Ukrainian army units expended over 1,130 rounds this week targeting DPR, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
“Overall, Ukrainian army units expended 1,132 rounds or 18 tons of this week targeting the Republic’s territory,” he said.
The JCCC said the enemy violated the ‘school ceasefire’ 3,194 times since the new truce came into force on August 25. Five civilians have been killed, 18 injured, 142 buildings have been damaged.
The sides agreed to a ‘school ceasefire’ as the new academic year was to begin in Donbass on September 1. It came into force at midnight August 25. It has not proved to be durable, thought in the first hours the security situation along the contact line stabilized. *ot
